The members of the “Retro Rockers”, New Zealand’s original nostalgic chopper group (est. Oct 2000) are a small group of people with fond passion for “yesteryears” Custom Motorcycles.

Our aim in this nostalgic chopper group is to restore, duplicate and promote the period custom choppers, bobbers and low riders from the 1950’s, 1960’s and 1970’s using 500cc and over power plants.

We welcome multi-national brands, as “stateside” USA done in the 1970’s, brands like Triumph, Harley, Honda, BSA, Yamaha etc, but in keeping the Retro Rocker Group nostalgic all power plants of registered club choppers and bobbers are of pre-1979 vintage or have motors of the same configuration as manufactured pre- 1979.
